RN Executive Director Specialist

We are seeking a RN Executive Director Specialist – Hospice to join our leadership team. This role acts as the administrator on call and is responsible for the overall operation of assigned markets in Georgia , including the employment of qualified hospice staff and the delivery of high-quality services across multiple sites. The Executive Director Specialist RN will provide leadership and stability by filling in across markets in Georgia , ensuring consistent compliance, quality, and patient care standards.

What You’ll Do as Executive Director Specialist – RN:

• Serve as the Administrator on record at assigned hospice agencies in Georgia

• Oversee the day-to-day operations including staffing, compliance, patient services, and performance improvement

• Drive clinical quality and ensure services meet Medicare Conditions of Participation, state hospice regulations, and Gentiva standards

• Lead, coach, and support hospice care teams to meet patient-centered goals

• Manage operational budgets with full P&L responsibility

• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure smooth transitions and sustainable team performance

• Travel up to 100% throughout the region to provide onsite leadership

Qualifications – What You’ll Bring:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current license in the state of residence

• 3–5 years of leadership or sales/management experience, in hospice

• Experience with Medicaid/Medicare regulations and reimbursement

• Strong understanding of hospice operations and regulatory compliance

• Able to work independently and travel frequently

• Effective communicator with strong decision-making and time management skills

• Highly proficient with technology and digital platforms

• Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and commitment to quality care

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted
