Pipefitter - Jacksonville, FL (NAS Mayport)RQ is currently seeking experienced Pipefitters to join our Mechanical team supporting projects in Jacksonville, Florida. All work is performed on military installations and is compensated according to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements applicable to each site.Pipefitters in this role will be responsible for laying out, assembling, and installing piping systems on active construction sites. This includes ensuring all work complies with applicable codes, specifications, and quality standards. The position requires strong technical knowledge of pipefitting practices, along with the proper use of tools and equipment. All work must be performed in accordance with established safety procedures and in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.Since its establishment in 1996, RQ, LLC has built a strong reputation as a leader in the commercial and government Design-Build construction industry. Our field teams work directly on-site throughout the U.S., ensuring projects are executed efficiently and successfully.We focus on fast-paced, ground-up commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary emphasis on Department of Defense (DoD) projects.Compensation & BenefitsHourly Pay: $51.59 - $53.00Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off: 1 week of vacation plus accrued sick leave Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required At least 4 years of experience (or equivalent) working as a journeyman-level pipefitter in commercial construction or facility operations Experience on government, military, or large-scale commercial projects is preferred Preferred QualificationsExperience with mechanical pipe installation Background in deep underground piping work Experience with system startup and commissioning, including boilers and chillers Valid pipefitter license or journeyman certification Current welding certification CPR, First Aid, and OSHA-10 certificationsJoin RQ!
