Pipefitter Journeyman - Construction

PipefitterRQ is currently seeking experienced Pipefitters to join our Mechanical team supporting projects in Jacksonville, Florida. All work is performed on military installations and is compensated according to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements applicable to each site.Pipefitters in this role will be responsible for laying out, assembling, and installing piping systems on active construction sites. This includes ensuring all work complies with applicable codes, specifications, and quality standards. The position requires strong technical knowledge of pipefitting practices, along with the proper use of tools and equipment. Today, we operate nationwide with active projects across the country, including in Georgia. Our field teams work directly on-site throughout the U.ensuring projects are executed efficiently and successfully.We focus on fast-paced, ground-up commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary emphasis on Department of Defense (DoD) projects.Compensation & BenefitsHourly Pay: $51.59 - $53.00Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage401(k) with company matchPaid Time Off: 1 week of vacation plus accrued sick leaveMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED requiredAt least 4 years of experience (or equivalent) working as a journeyman-level pipefitter in commercial construction or facility operationsExperience on government, military, or large-scale commercial projects is preferredPreferred QualificationsExperience with mechanical pipe installationBackground in deep underground piping workExperience with system startup and commissioning, including boilers and chillersValid pipefitter license or journeyman certificationCurrent welding certificationCPR, First Aid, and OSHA-10 certificationsJoin RQ!
