Job Description Job Description Job Summary Busy allergy & asthma office in Frisco, Texas is seeking a qualified full-time Medical Assistant (MA/CMA) to join our team! The successful candidate will enthusiastically and efficiently assist our physicians/physician assistant to provide exceptional patient care. Responsibilities * Room patients, review history and ready them for examination * Perform procedures (diagnostic and therapeutic) based on orders received from physician or physician assistant * Injections (IM, SubQ, & ID) * Skin testing * Spirometry/Exhaled Nitric Oxide * Phone triage for patient care concerns * Communicate with internal and external clients * Assist with patient education Qualifications * Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant or comparable designation or experience; we are willing to train the right candidate! * Pleasant and professional phone and interpersonal skills * Upbeat attitude, adept at communicating with and making both pediatric and adult patients feel comfortable * Ability to multi-task procedures and patient care needs * Ability to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance (for storing office supplies and assisting patients) * Experience in allergy, asthma, biologics a plus!
