Bookkeeper - Construction Accounting - Bookkeeping Specialist

United Staffing Solutions has the pleasure of representing an established and growing construction company in their search for an experienced Bookkeeper . This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment and takes pride in keeping financial records accurate and organized. This long term position starts on a temporary basis and has the possibility of becoming permanent if it is the right fit.

Location: Maspeth, Queens, NY (Accessible via L train and multiple bus lines, metered and non-metered street parking are also available)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (anticipated)
Pay: $25-33/hour depending on experience
Position Type: Temporary-to-Permanent (anticipated)

Responsibilities for the Bookkeeper:

• Recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Processing invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Assisting with bank and credit card reconciliations
• Maintaining organized financial records and documentation
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and supporting documentation
• Communicating with clients and vendors via phone and email

Qualifications for the Bookkeeper:

• At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience (in a construction office or related environment preferred)
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus, not a must
