Mechanical Technician
Well established property management company headquartered in Southfield, MI seeks a skilled Mechanical Technician with experience in air conditioning and furnace installations.
Responsibilities:
- Install, perform start-ups, troubleshoot and repair residential- Air Conditioner and Furnace systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-related problems in residential HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair air conditioners, furnaces, thermostats, ductwork components, and associated equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before system failure occurs.
- Replace defective parts, components, and system controls as needed.
- Verify proper refrigerant levels, airflow, gas pressure, and electrical connections.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions.
- Ensure all installations and repairs comply with safety regulations, company standards, and applicable codes.
