Tooling Technician

Aerospace Tooling Technician Location: Grand Prairie, Tx Shift: Days- 6:00AM-2:30PM Starting Pay: $28.44/hour Eligibility: Only U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, and political asylees or refugees are eligible to apply. Primary Responsibilities Determining and performing required maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, aligning/adjusting parts, calibrating, etc.). Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment. Ordering and Installing replacement parts. Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g. mechanical and electrical). Evaluates and recommends equipment improvements to improve availability, capability, and yield. Performs equipment failure analyses (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance). Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems. Prepares technical reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures. Qualifications Preferred Tooling Experience of 4 to 5 years. Experience with welding and machining. Experience and understanding of lathe and milling machines Experience with CNC Machine for Metal Physical Requirements Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools. Ability to push/pull 51 lbs. or more. Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
