About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at Steve Tatevossian DDS Inc as a Back Office Supervisor/Lead Dental Assistant! In this exciting role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our dental practice runs smoothly while providing exceptional care to our patients in Redlands, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the back office team to ensure efficient operations.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation.
- Train and mentor new dental assistants on best practices and protocols.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and manage workflow in the office.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and procedures.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of dental supplies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a dental assistant role/lead assiting experience
- Current registered dental assisting license RDA and CPR certification.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in dental software and electronic health records.
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding patient care.
