Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Overview Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) You can fully utilize your RDA skills working with Pediatric Dentists, Orthodontists and Anesthesiologists Summary: The Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.

- Prophy teeth
- Instructs patients on oral hygiene
- Chart and treatment plan with doctor
- Sterilizes instruments
- Setup and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
- Take IO's
- Charting
- Sealants, if applicable
- Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR Equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
- BIlingual in Spanish, preferred
- California Registered Dental Assistant License
- X-Ray Certification
- Coronal Polish Certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Sealant Certification, preferred
