Job Description

This full-time Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician role offers the opportunity to work in a growing telehealth-focused compounding pharmacy based in Jupiter, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily sterile IV compounding in accordance with USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines and Category 3 compliance requirements.
• Compound a variety of dosage forms, including capsules, nasal sprays, creams, troches, injectables, and peptides, following established formulations and procedures.
• Apply proper sterile gowning, sterile sampling, sterile fingertip glove techniques, and sterile media fill procedures to maintain aseptic conditions.
• Maintain a clean and compliant sterile environment in the compounding areas, including proper cleaning, disinfecting, and environmental monitoring activities.
• Verify and prepare ingredients, calculations, and labels for compounded medications to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Essential Skills

• Current registration as a pharmacy technician in the state of Florida.
• At least 1 year of experience as a sterile compounding pharmacy technician.
• Hands-on experience with daily sterile IV compounding.
• Proficiency in sterile gowning, sterile sampling, sterile fingertip glove techniques, and sterile media fills.
• Ability to follow detailed compounding procedures and maintain strict aseptic technique.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculations, labeling, and documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, production-focused pharmacy environment.

Work Environment

This role is 100% onsite in a closed-door sterile compounding pharmacy located in Jupiter, Florida. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no direct patient contact. The setting is team-oriented, where you will primarily work at the bench filling compounded prescriptions and occasionally pivot to answer phones in support of telehealth pharmacy operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jupiter, FL.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Jupiter,FL.
