Overview Part Time Teller, Ashland, MA. This role involves assisting with various financial needs, processing transactions, and delivering exceptional customer service while following bank policies and risk management protocols. Responsibilities Provide an elevated level of customer service by welcoming customers, minimizing wait times, and assisting with banking needs. Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers; handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances. Adhere to bank policies and procedures, including compliance and risk management to prevent fraudulent situations. Recognize opportunities and cross-sell bank products to deepen customer relationships. Engage customers and leverage digital tools to educate them on self-service options. Assist with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area to create a welcoming environment for customers. Responsibilities may extend to supporting nearby branch locations based on business necessity. What You Bring / Qualifications Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent – Required. 6+ months cash handling experience – Required. 6+ months demonstrated customer service experience – Required. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others. Ability to identify and escalate concerns of risk to appropriate channels. Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures; effective listening and communication skills. Comfortable using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement. Energetic, organized, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment. Attention to detail and accuracy; basic computer proficiency and math skills. Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings. Preferred / Optional Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education. Preferred experience in Microsoft Office products. Work Authorization & Sponsorship Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment. Compensation Base Pay Range: Minimum: $30,000 USD; Maximum: $47,000 USD. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and location.
