We are the proven leader in the fan and ventilation market, providing innovative and energy efficient solutions to our business partners and customers.ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented Manufacturing Engineer who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company.Your main responsibilities will be:Provides time studies, capacity analysis (manpower, tooling, capital and facilities), line balancing and crew loading, work sampling and PC computer data analysis.Establishes labor requirements, line and sub-assembly balancing data and expectancy time performances, headcount planning and budgeting conceptsCollects and analyzes data and metrics and presents the information to large audiencesProvides productivity planning with accompanying future strategies for improvementDevelops and maintains engineered time standardsApplies statistical methods and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing assembly processes, labor requirements and production standardsDetermines and improves processes to meet production levelsSchedules and sequences job plans to support effective workflowSupports work specific to detail parts manufacturing and assembly operation of composite and metallic aerospace hardware within a manufacturing environmentOther duties as assignedJob Requirements:Bachelor's Degree (Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology or equivalent)Minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing settingKnowledge of a wide range of manufacturing principles, engineering practices, materials & physical sciencesLean manufacturing experience requiredExperience recommending improvements to manufacturing methods and processes such as utilization of personnel, material and utilitiesPrior experience with development and maintenance of plant standardsExperience with creating valve stream mapsAbility to draft and design the layout of equipment, materials and work centers to optimize material flow, labor efficiency, safety, quality, productivity and ergonomicsExperience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and machine specificationsMS Office experienceERP/MRP system experienceAbility to travelWe offer:Tuition Reimbursement Program- We encourage team members to continue their education to support their current or future work.We offer a comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental and Vision options.Company-paid Life insurance, Short and Long-Term Disability insurance, and Parental leave.401(k) retirement account with a generous company matchPhenomenal work life balance offering twenty (20) days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per calendar year.Holidays totaling eleven days (11) per calendar year including a floating holiday of employee's choice.Career advancement and training opportunitiesWe welcome candidates from all backgrounds and are dedicated to providing an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported.EEO compliant employer
