Plumbing/HVAC Estimator in the New Jersey Area We are a growing mechanical contractor in NJ currently hiring additional top-notch estimators with 5 or more years of plumbing/piping estimating experience. Prior commercial mechanical (plumbing/piping) estimating experience highly preferred. Read AutoCAD Drawings. Estimating projects and major buyout of projects. Coordinate manpower and provide schedules. Review Sub-contractor estimates and quotes. Identify and communicate conflicts and errors in estimates. Build effective, profitable winning bids for upcoming projects. isit with clients, general contractors and engineers. Look for value engineering opportunities. 5 or more years of HVAC/Plumbing experience. 5 or more years of Estimating experience. Extensive Plumbing knowledge. Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction or similar. BlueBeam. Strong computer and communication skills. Knowledge of OSHPD and CA building codes.
