Additionally, to promote and display leadership within the building and district that encourages a positive learning culture for students and teachers. Provide leadership, supervisory, and administrative skills to promote the best educational program and services to each student. Establish and maintain an effective learning environment in the school. Implement all Board policies and administrative procedures. Assist in the development, revision, and evaluation of the curriculum. Supervise and evaluate all personnel assigned to the school. Consult with faculty and staff to determine equipment and supply needs for an effective instructional program. Qualifications Certified by the Kentucky Department of Education as a principal. Master’s degree. Four years of teaching experience. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may deem appropriate and acceptable. For this type of employment, state law requires a national criminal history background check as a condition of employment and a check from the Cabinet for Family and Health Services stating that there are no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect on record.
