Job Details Job Location: 038992 - Reston - Reston, VA Position Type: Shift Leader Salary Range: Undisclosed Description Note: This description documents only the time allocated to management tasks. The remaining hours are dedicated to hourly tasks such as food preparation, production, guest service, and cleaning. Basic Purpose and Objectives of the Position The Shift Manager (SM) is an hourly role that assists management with routine administrative and operational tasks within the restaurant. Key focus areas include: Driving excellence in customer service Maintaining company standards in product and facility specifications Reviewing food handling procedures Assessing operational processes The human resources responsibilities are limited to crew training and ongoing coaching and feedback for hourly employees. The Shift Manager may also assume full responsibility for opening and closing the restaurant when management is unavailable, maintaining administrative control but not serving in a managerial capacity. Principle Accountabilities Customer Satisfaction/Product Quality Ensure fast, accurate service, positive guest relations, and product quality consistent with company standards. Conduct periodic food safety audits and provide ongoing coaching to crew on customer service, product quality, and speed of service. Financial Assist the management team with daily cash procedures, including bank deposits, making change, safe operations, and drawer verification. Operations Conduct daily inventory, food safety audits, and set up control sheets. Review facility and equipment readiness. Monitor inventory, food prep, and order fulfillment to ensure standards are met. Oversee speed of service and resolve bottlenecks. In the absence of management, handle food and supplies deliveries and restaurant opening/closing. Human Resources Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to crew, and hands-on training in the Learning Zone. Qualifications #J-18808-Ljbffr Taco Bell
