Position: Behavior Technician (Behavior Respite Program) Compensation & Benefits Locations: Concord Martinez, and additional openings in Alameda & Contra Costa Counties Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (In-Person) Salary: $30 - $35 per hour Mileage Reimbursement: $0.70 per mile for travel between clients Flexible Scheduling: Afternoons, evenings, and weekends available! What You’ll Be Doing Engage Clients in Fun & Meaningful Activities – Play games, go for walks, do crafts, or participate in activities that promote positive interactions and structured engagement . less stress on contriving opportunities for learning or targeting skill acquisitions. Help Prevent Challenging Behaviors Before They Start – Learn and apply proactive behavior strategies or antecedent based intervention to keep sessions fun, calm, and productive. Provide Caregiver Relief & Support – Give parents and caregivers a much-needed break , ensuring their loved ones are in safe and caring hands. Receive Hands-On Training & Support – Work directly with BCBAs and Mid-Level Supervisors who will guide and mentor you. Requirements 1+ Year of Experience (Preferred but Not Required!)
