Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool

This position requires a skilled Registered Nurse to work in a float pool capacity, providing nursing care across multiple departments including Emergency Department, ER hold, Medical Surgical, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU. Flexibility and adaptability are essential as staff will float throughout the facility based on needs.

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across various units.

Follow hospital protocols and procedures while floating to different departments.

Maintain patient safety and optimal patient outcomes in accordance with established standards.

Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00).

Must be flexible to facility scheduling; no schedule requests can be accommodated.

Weekend coverage required every other weekend.

Travelers are expected to work during holiday periods as follows:

If assigned during one major holiday, work is required for that holiday.

If during two major holidays, work is expected for both.

If assigned during three major holidays, work is required for two of the three holidays.

Memorial Day

Independence Day

Labor Day

Thanksgiving/Black Friday

Christmas Eve/Christmas Day

New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted.

Current and valid nursing license.

Demonstrated ability to float among various departments effectively.

Full compliance with all facility onboarding and orientation requirements for timely start.

Local candidates are welcome to apply and will receive the same rate as traveling nurses. Compliance deadlines and non-billable orientation hours will be determined based on contract length.
