Corrosion & Integrity Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
- Specializes in pipeline and equipment corrosion. Knowledge of pipeline integrity procedures and systems.
- Responsible for monitoring platforms corrosion and maintaining mitigation policies.
- Maintains pipeline integrity by carrying out cathodic protection programs.
- Implements and updates corrosion strategies, arrange material investigations.
- May be responsible for maintenance and repair of cathodic protection systems, pigging operations, coordination of pipeline service and in-line inspection, and ensuring documentation and records are maintained.
Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in Fitness-for-Service evaluations for corrosion, dents, and crack features. (e.g. API-579, CorLAS, RSTRENG, MAT-8, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of ILI and Direct Assessment (DA), Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) methods/practices and pipeline repair. Includes evaluation and decisions based on assessment data.
- Detail-oriented
- Good relationship building and communication skills
Education/Experience:
- BS in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Civil Engineering Required. NACE CP1 Certification highly desired
