Terminal Supervisor

Terminal SupervisorHF Sinclair Midstream located in Boise, ID is seeking a Terminal Supervisor. This position will oversee all product movement in and out of the facility. Operations include truck and rail loading/offloading, tank transfers, pipeline receipts.Job Duties:Pivotal role coordinating with the pipeline scheduling and marketing departmentsResponsible for the computer software trainingDetermines work procedures, sets priorities, prepares work schedules and expedites Terminal workflowPrioritizes procurement of materials and equipmentAssesses current processes, including evaluating appropriate software, and provides recommendations for automation and efficienciesEstablishes, maintains and documents procedures for department to organize workflow; organizes and conducts weekly meetingsAnalyzes and develops solutions for problems arising within the departmentPrepares weekly payroll input, verifying employee calculations, and maintains and verifies attendance and leave allocation for account receivable employeesActs as liaison between Terminal and other related departments as neededActs as a liaison with local, state, and federal regulatory authoritiesCoordinate training with responding municipal emergency servicesVerifies Terminal documents for accuracy of calculations, information and approvalsHandles escalated telephone calls and checks and responds to department electronic mailDevelops reports, isolates potential operational issues, and provides recommendations and ad hoc reports to appropriate managementSpecial assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion.Experience:A minimum of seven years of related experience with at least two years in a lead role is required.Education Level: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in lieu of degree.Required Skills:Special training and/or certifications in computer accounting software and hazardous materials is essential.A significant amount of energy industry and supervisory experience is required.Basic reading and writing skills with the ability to perform basic level mathematical calculations.Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal communication.Supervisory/Managerial Responsibility: Responsible for the direct supervision of at least two employees.Work Conditions:Office and field based with 10% travel by land and air required.Refined petroleum products, warehouse/plant environment, out-of-doors environment, and driver based environment including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, rotating equipment, working in confined spaces, and exposure to the risk of electrical shock.Subject to all temperatures, weather, and varying road conditions.Benefits:HF Sinclair offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being of our employees and their families.
