Software Developer in Test (SDET)

As a QA SDET, you will design and implement automated testing solutions across APIs, UI, and backend components. You will also mentor junior team members and advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of automated test cases and frameworks for functional and non-functional testing.
• Champion quality practices within the team by advising on testability during design and implementation phases.
• Drive testing strategies across services, microservices, and UIs for large-scale distributed systems.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers in Agile ceremonies to ensure test coverage aligns with business needs.
• Contribute to the test planning and own the execution for assigned features or product areas, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
• Log, prioritize, and manage defects using tracking tools like JIRA.
• Analyse test results, generate quality metrics, and clearly communicate risks and issues.

• Exposure to financial services, fintech, or trading system technologies.
• Experience with test strategy for medium-to-large projects or components.
• Familiarity with tools like XRAY, TestRail, Grafana, Kibana, or Prometheus for test management and observability.
• Understanding of performance, reliability, or security testing approaches.
• ISTQB/CSTE certification.
