About the role
We are a global provider of custom-engineered sealing, connecting, conducting, and EMI/RFI shielding solutions. Our coil spring technology drives new product development, enhances existing designs, and opens new frontiers in precision engineering.
All of our equipment is custom-built — there are no off-the-shelf blueprints and no vendor helpline to call. This role demands an engineer who thrives on independent critical thinking and hands-on troubleshooting. If you come from an environment where figuring things out from first principles is part of the job, you will feel right at home here.
What you'll do
- Support production operations — troubleshooting, BOMs, routings, and engineering changes
- Lead continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
- Review designs for manufacturability and cost (DFM/A) and approve engineering documentation
- Develop manufacturing processes and documentation including PFMEAs, work instructions, and tooling specs
- Drive equipment and tooling activities: design, sourcing, validation, and installation
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably with custom equipment and precision machining of polymers and metals
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks or Inventor)
- Knowledge of GD&T per ASME Y14.5
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP and PLM/PDM systems
- Strong foundation in continuous improvement and Lean methodologies
- Knowledge of process capability and SPC
- Laser cutting and welding process knowledge is a plus
