Jewelry Sales Consultant

Dublin Village Jewelers is a family-owned luxury jewelry store built on exceptional service, outstanding craftsmanship, and lasting relationships. Our customers come to us for some of life’s most meaningful purchases and we take pride in providing an experience that goes far beyond a typical retail transaction. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated, relationship-focused client advisor to join our team. THE OPPORTUNITY This position is ideal for someone who enjoys luxury sales, building meaningful relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering an exceptional experience from the first conversation through years of continued client relationships. The right candidate will have the ability to connect with clients, learn a specialized product category, and become a trusted advisor for customers making important purchases. While jewelry experience is valuable, it is not required. We are equally interested in candidates with strong backgrounds in luxury retail, hospitality, or other industries where trust, professionalism, and customer relationships drive success. The role is full-time and in-person, with a schedule of Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM–6:15 PM and Saturday 10AM-4:15pm. Occasional extended hours may be required for special events or during busy seasons. RESPONSIBILITIES Welcome every client with warmth, professionalism, and personalized service. Build long-term relationships through trust, communication, and follow-ups. Guide clients through jewelry purchases, custom design projects, and special orders. Ask thoughtful questions to understand each client's style, needs, and occasion. Consistently and efficiently close sales. Develop repeat business through follow-ups and relationship building. Learn and confidently communicate product knowledge, including diamonds, gemstones, watches, precious metals, and jewelry services. Accurately log, submit, and track sales and repair orders. Assist with showroom presentation and daily store operations. Collaborate with a team committed to delivering an exceptional client experience. QUALIFICATIONS Successful candidates will have: Experience in a customer-focused sales or service environment. Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills. A polished, professional presence. Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through. Ability to follow procedures. Integrity, honesty, and sound judgment. Consistency, reliability, and accountability. The ability to learn luxury products and confidently communicate their value. The ability to handle and work with small, delicate items with precision and attention to detail. A positive, collaborative attitude and desire to contribute to a team environment. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Competitive salary range of $45,000–$55,000 annually, with compensation based on experience, qualifications, and performance.
