Maintenance TechnicianThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facility systems, grounds, and buildings. This role supports electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems while performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs of building structures and equipment.Essential FunctionsMonitor and support of electrical and plumbing as well as mechanical systems related to the swimming poolsGrounds-keeping, grounds maintenance and snow removal (mowing, weeding, weed-whacking, brush removal, snow blower, snow shoveling, etc.)Monitor and properly maintain building structural itemsTimely and accurately conduct equipment checks (e.g. carbon monoxide, fire extinguishers, etc.) and building/equipment inspections (e.g., boilers, backflow, fire suppression, etc.)Participate in the "on call" rotation schedule for repairs and snow removalOpen and close the building on a rotating scheduleOther DutiesPerforms all duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesDemonstrate respect in all professional relationshipsDemonstrate: a professional demeanor, attention to punctuality and attendance, reliability, flexibility and customer service excellenceFunction as a member of a teamDemonstrate enthusiasm for learning the knowledge and skills required to perform the jobReadily seek and accept feedback to improve performanceApply knowledge and skills gained to the jobAdhere to and promote the mission, culture and practices of the organization.Ability to work independently, efficiently, completely and properly with minimum supervision.Ability to interact with members, guests and coworkers in a professional and responsive mannerAbility to multi-task and prioritizePhysical Demands & Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
