In alignment with our shared vision, the leader should be able to effectively champion initiatives to drive productivity through commercial, operations, and financial excellence.Duties / Responsibilities:Provide development of staff leaders to guide plants and support organizationsWork with customers, functional leaders, and internal staff to meet organizational requirementsLead the establishment and attainment of plant goals in quality, cost, schedule, compliance, and safetyEstablish and maintain the plant(s) vision for successFacilitate the leadership team in strategic decision-making and problem-solvingProvides effective leadership and promotes good working relationships across all functions in the facilities and for the companyResponsible for the overall production, distribution, safety, quality, performance, and profitability of assigned operationsLeads by example thus setting a positive tone for the organization, creating a motivating work environment and cooperation across functions regardless of market conditionsCoordinate business activities through planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing and production objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective mannerEstablish and monitor overall performance for production and quality standardsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field required; 5 years of P&L experience will be considered in lieu of degreeMinimum 4 years' experience in production management, with at least two in a manufacturing management position, is preferablePrior P&L and commercial responsibility is requiredExpertise defining and optimizing process flowAbility to communicate efficiently and effectively with all team members at all levels within the facilityMust have strong leadership, interpersonal, and discretionary skillsSolid understanding of construction trades and quality practices, codes, regulations, etc.Why Clayton?Full-time team members have the flexibility to create their own health, dental, and vision benefits package.
