Insurance Associate

Performs various tasks within the insurance team including the monitoring of insurance claims within our portfolio of loans to assure compliance with loan document and/or lender requirements; as well as meeting investor and borrower servicing expectations. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of approximately 80-100 property insurance claims from beginning to completion. Receive and handle incoming claim funds for deposit Review of Loan Agreements, third-party reports, and other various loan documents. Review all claim documents such as Statement of Loss, repair contracts, Adjuster Reports, fire reports, etc.. Develop and maintain strong relationships by working with borrowers, adjusters, insurance agents, Master Servicers, Lenders/Investors and other interested parties. Utilize and work with vendors as needed. Disburse borrower draw requests by thorough review of invoices and lien waivers in accordance with lender guidelines Assist with the Newmark Disaster Recovery Reporting Process Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned by management. Initiates and participates in projects, system enhancement design and testing; documents procedures This position will be within the Lower Gwynedd, PA office on a hybrid work schedule.
