As a Security Officer Retail Patrol in Sherman Oaks, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a reliable, agile approach while creating a welcoming presence for tenants, guests, and staff.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, parking areas, common areas, stairwells, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directional information, and help to support property rules, after-hours access procedures, and other site-specific protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to incidents, daily activity, and/or property observations, and relay important information during shift changes and to Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
