Certified Sterile Processing Tech

Central Sterile TechnicianResponsible for performing sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment in accordance with established procedures, infection control standards, industry standards, recommended practices on sterilization, and regulatory requirements. Processes specialty and general instruments. Resets instrument sets without error. Decontaminates instruments and equipment according to procedures. Maintains Central Sterile Department stock levels. Prepares and assembles surgical trays and equipment following established tray listings for issue, storage, or further processing. Communicates instrument repair needs to supervisor.Minimum 1 year of related experience required, 2-4 years preferred. Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) required. High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Knowledge of case cart assembly.
