Job Description Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician – Springfield, TN | Excellent Locum Opportunity Join a leading facility in Springfield, Tennessee, as an OB/GYN Hospitalist providing inpatient care. Quick Facts: Location: Springfield, TN Start Date: 06/29/2026 End Date: 09/28/2026 Shift: 24-hour day shifts (07:00 – 07:00) Hours per week: Varies (3–7 shifts/month) Employment Type: Locum / Temporary Licenses/Certifications: Active Tennessee medical license, Board Certified in OB/GYN, DEA registration Experience: Minimum 2 years OB Hospitalist experience, high-risk obstetrical delivery experience required Pay & Benefits: Hourly pay rate: $2,964 (plus federal and state compliant benefits) Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time (per applicable laws) Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Provide inpatient OB hospitalist coverage, managing high-risk deliveries and obstetric emergencies Serve as backup call support for Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including anesthesiology, neonatology, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists Respond promptly to callbacks within 15 minutes of hospital Support and supervise obstetric and gynecologic cases as needed Maintain accurate documentation in EMR (Meditech) Contribute to a high-volume obstetrics unit with approximately 600 deliveries annually What You Need: Active Tennessee medical license and DEA registration Board certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology At least 2 years of OB hospitalist experience, with high-risk delivery expertise Ability to remain within 15 minutes of the hospital during on-call periods Strong collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment About the Assignment: Work at a prominent hospital in Springfield, Tennessee, performing inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care, including deliveries and high-risk obstetrical management.
