You’ll unload deliveries, handle equipment and hazardous materials safely, and make sure your area is prepped for daily success.\n

\nThis role is physical and fast-paced, requiring safe lifting practices and attention to detail. You’ll spend most of your shift on your feet, working mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight depending on store needs. Your Day at Lowe’s \n
\n
\nYou’ll keep shelves stocked and backrooms organized by unloading freight, moving products to the sales floor, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. You may also assist customers in locating or loading products. Most shifts are physically active, and scheduling may include morning, evening, or overnight hours based on store needs.\n
\n
Key Responsibilities \n
\n

• Deliver SMART customer service by assisting customers, answering questions, and offering support during projects
\n
• Stock merchandise by unloading freight, down-stocking, organizing shelves, and setting up pallets
\n
• Support store operations by verifying deliveries, completing dock prep, and using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts
\n
• Maintain a safe, clean environment by following proper procedures for hazardous materials, equipment use, and housekeeping
\n
• Operate store equipment including scanners, Zebra phones, balers, and other tools as needed
\n
• Pitch in as a team player to complete other assigned tasks
\n

Additional responsibilities for Pro Fulfillment Stores include: \n
\n

\n
• Use the Orders App to pick and stage Flatbed Delivery orders
\n
• Load delivery orders, ensuring quality, accuracy, and safe loading practices
\n
• Rotate orders by delivery date and resolve customer order issues
\n
• Proactively communicate with customers to ensure delivery satisfaction
\n
• Execute Delivery Readiness best practices
\n

\n
Minimum Qualifications \n
\n

\n
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
\n

\n
Preferred Qualifications \n
\n

\n
• 3 months Experience operating forklift/power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
\n
• 6 months Experience in a warehouse performing inventory handling and stocking
\n

Travel Requirements \n

\nThis role does not require regular travel, but occasional travel may be needed for meetings, training sessions, or to support nearby stores.\n

Working Conditions \n
\n
\nEnvironmental factors vary by location. You may be working in both inside and outside weather conditions. Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, is possible. You may be exposed to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment.\n
\n
\nLifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associates must follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds. Team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Powered equipment should be used as required, with proper training or assistance from a trained coworker.\n
