Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patient needs and devise individualized treatment strategies to help them achieve their functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methods to support patients' physical, cognitive, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing professionals to provide comprehensive, integrated care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Instruct individuals and their caregivers on therapy practices to promote effective progress at home.
• Document Progress Meticulously: Monitor clinical developments and modify treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track towards success.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Ongoing education or specialization certifications highly encouraged and financially supported

Licenses and Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
