National Account Director

Skybridge Luxury & Associates has partnered with a top luxury resort in southwest Florida in search for a Director of National Accounts. The role is responsible for driving revenue growth through the cultivation of strategic relationships, the development of new business opportunities, and the positioning of the resort as a premier luxury destination for group travel. This role serves as an ambassador for the resort, delivering a highly personalized and sophisticated sales approach that reflects the resort’s elevated service standards and distinctive guest experience. Essential Functions Reports to the Area Associate Director of Sales and the Area Director of Sales and Marketing Cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with national accounts, corporate clients, third-party planners, and key industry partners to position the resort as a preferred luxury destination. Identify, solicit, and secure new business opportunities through strategic prospecting, client engagement, referrals, networking, and participation in industry events. Manage a portfolio of national accounts with a focus on long-term relationship building, revenue growth, brand loyalty, and repeat business. Lead tailored sales presentations, virtual meetings, and curated site inspections that highlight guest accommodations, event venues, culinary offerings, recreational amenities, and the overall luxury resort experience. Partner closely with revenue management, catering, marketing, and resort operations to ensure sales strategies align with brand standards, business objectives, and exceptional guest expectations. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and value-added concessions with a balanced approach that supports profitability while preserving the integrity of the luxury guest experience. Monitor account production, booking pace, group room control, and sales performance reports to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and drive strategic decision-making. Prepare weekly and monthly recaps that provide insight into prospecting efforts, account development, production, and overall revenue contribution. Represent the resort at trade shows, sales missions, client events, and industry functions in a polished and professional manner that enhances visibility and strengthens market presence. Maintain accurate and detailed account information, correspondence, and sales activity within the hotel’s CRM and reporting systems. Stay informed on market conditions, luxury travel trends, competitor activity, and evolving guest preferences to continuously refine sales strategies and elevate performance. Ensure a seamless and thoughtful transition of booked business to internal teams so that each client experience reflects the resort’s commitment to excellence from initial inquiry through execution. Collaborate with Catering and Leisure segments to ensure hotel revenue opportunities from all segments are optimized. Secondary Functions Other duties as assigned Education & Experience 5-10 years of sales experience within luxury hospitality, resort, hotel, or group sales environments. Demonstrated success managing national or strategic accounts and delivering measurable revenue growth within a high-touch service setting. Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, presentation, and client service skills with the ability to represent a luxury brand with professionalism and polish. Ability to communicate effectively in English with clients, guests, management, and team members in a clear, confident, and service-oriented manner. Experience using sales systems, CRM platforms, and reporting tools preferred.
