Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

We are looking for a talented Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for the school year. Hourly Rate Range : $22.00-$30.00 per hour Responsibilities would include: Provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans to support student learning and independence. Work with students on fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation. Support students in developing adaptive behaviors to enhance engagement in school activities. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom. Assist in data collection and progress monitoring to evaluate therapy effectiveness. Recommend and help implement adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and classroom modifications. Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) and IDEA guidelines. Required Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program. Washington State Occupational Therapy Assistant License (issued by the Washington Department of Health – DOH). Supervised fieldwork experience in a pediatric or school-based setting.
