Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including physical examinations and thorough reviews of medical histories.
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions, interpreting imaging studies and lab results with precision.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons in developing and implementing tailored surgical treatment plans for each patient.
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and responsibly passing surgical instruments during procedures.
• Offer exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Strong preference for candidates who have completed clinical rotations emphasizing surgical expertise.

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
