This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls. The ideal candidate brings strong attention to detail, solid accounting knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across departments.Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral AccountingPartner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data flowCreate and process customer invoices, coordinating with Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and IT to resolve billing exceptions and system issuesPrepare and post journal entries, including accruals and reclassificationsAssist with monthly and year-end close processesReconcile general ledger accountsCompliance & ReportingEnsure adherence to company policies and controlsPrepare financial and operational reportsIdentify process improvement opportunities within accounting processesPerform ad hoc requests and analyses as neededGolden West Packaging Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
