Labor & Employment Associate Attorney – Mid-LevelDirect Counsel is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney with 3–4 years of experience to join a nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in Milwaukee or Madison.The ideal candidate will have experience across a broad range of labor and employment matters, including:Employment litigation, including discrimination and wage & hour mattersEmployment advice and counselingOSHA mattersTraditional labor mattersDay-to-day employment mattersRestrictive covenants and related expedited relief and litigationDiscovery, motion practice, and trial preparationResearching and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filingsSettlement conferences and negotiationsExperience with deal due diligence is also preferred. Candidates should have strong legal writing skills and experience handling matters in both state and federal courts.The successful candidate will be team-oriented, personable, and able to thrive in a busy, collegial environment. Strong interpersonal skills, an exceptional work ethic, and demonstrated client relationship and business development abilities are highly valued.
