• Evaluate test results with a meticulous eye, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure lab equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
• When necessary, assist in specimen collection and meticulously prepare samples for analysis.
• Keep comprehensive records of procedures, facilitate the training of new employees or students, and actively contribute to maintaining high-quality lab standards.
• Ensure that the laboratory environment is safe, clean, and compliant with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health degree with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be acquired within the first year of employment.
• Maintain your certification throughout the duration of your employment.
