Education Earned a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health qualification along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire. Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
