Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests—chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—adhering to established guidelines.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, identify technical issues, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for analysis as needed.
• Accurately document all laboratory procedures, assist in training new staff or students, and uphold laboratory quality protocols.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree with preparations for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing certification maintenance required throughout employment.
