Senior Back-End Developer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Back-End Developer with expertise in Java (Java 8 or above), PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Pub/Sub. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement applications to support business requirements, analyze complex business requirements, and generate technical specifications. This role requires acting as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts, leveraging industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support solutions. The candidate must assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met, be flexible, thrive in an evolving environment, and adapt to change quickly and positively.

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement back-end applications using Java (Java 8 or above), PostgreSQL, and GCP Pub/Sub.
• Analyze highly complex business requirements and generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support solutions.
• Assure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for the supported area.
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner.

Skills/Experience:
• Extensive development experience in Java (Java 8 or above), PostgreSQL, and GCP Pub/Sub.
• Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and successfully deploying large-scale projects from end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in software development.
