Project Coordinator, Capital Projects – Managing Projects That Shape Communities

Location: Irving, TX (corporate office) or Chicago, IL

Hybrid, will be required to meet onsite as needed.

About the Role

Are you a highly organized project professional who thrives on keeping projects moving and details on track? TI Communities is seeking a Project Coordinator, Capital Projects to support capital improvement projects from procurement through closeout while partnering with Facilities, Asset Management, Property Operations, contractors, and vendors. If you're a detail-driven professional who enjoys supporting impactful projects and collaborating across teams, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate capital project contracts, documentation, and project tracking.
• Support bid processes, contract administration, change orders, and vendor compliance.
• Maintain project schedules, budgets, and contract records.
• Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder communication.
• Track invoices, lien waivers, insurance documents, and closeout requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in project coordination, construction administration, contract administration, capital projects, or property management.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of procurement, contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience using Property Management software (Entrata, Yardi)
