The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In this role, you’ll be working with various fast paced development programs. You’ll create and execute Material Program Strategies and Plans to ensure flawless execution from the front end of the business through contract closure. This position supports a product development effort that requires the ability to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment. In this role you will be taking a proactive stance in supporting the program team with material procurements, material estimates at completion, driving material deliveries from suppliers, and support overall execution of material strategies. This position is an onsite role.What You Will Do:Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.Assisting with the review and SCM inputs of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).Generating Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes.Creating Request for material, and short text purchase requests (RFM/STPR)Driving Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management.Being familiar with and reference applicable policies and procedures to perform MPM tasks.Working closely with production control and procurement to orchestrate tasking handoffs.Working closely with the engineering teams for any supply chain requests.Facilitating the creation or updates of PIA’s and/or NDA’s for new suppliers.Working closely with AT Procurement to streamline the cycle time for PO placement.Ability to travel 15%Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experienceExperience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements.Experience in SAP and familiarity with MRP supply and demand.Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
