Corporate Travel Consultant Full Time Administrative Office - Des Moines, IA West Des Moines, IA, US 4 days ago Requisition ID: 1947 POSITION DESCRIPTION The Corporate Travel Consultanthandles the airline and hotel reservations, car rentals, rail tickets and other requested products for the travelers of various corporate accounts. The Corporate Travel Consultant also provides a leadership role to others in the department, helping with training, problem solving, new automation issues and client information. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Minimum two years retail travel agency experience. Apollo experience preferred; domestic and international air knowledge, ability to sell hotel, car, rail or other related travel products. Ability to interact professionally and positively with varying groups of internal and external customers. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Strong organization and time management skills. Ability to adapt to change. Ability to interact positively with people. Ability to listen, understand and respond to external and internal customers’ needs in a timely manner; customer service experience in a service-related industry preferred. Ability to work the time necessary to complete projects and/or meet deadlines.
