We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer & Sales Support Coordinator to join a growing manufacturing organization supporting aerospace and defense customers. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working cross-functionally, and has strong experience managing customer requests, CRM data, and sales support activities.

You will play a key role in managing RFQs, supporting quotation processes, maintaining Salesforce accuracy, and ensuring smooth communication between customers, Business Development, and internal operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming RFQs by reviewing customer requirements, validating completeness, and entering opportunities into Salesforce for Business Development follow-up
• Support quotation preparation by gathering internal inputs, assembling customer quote packages, and converting final quotes into PDF format
• Track quote status and ensure timely follow-up activities are completed
• Coordinate order processing by submitting purchase orders to Customer Service and monitoring status updates in Salesforce
• Maintain accurate CRM data including opportunity stages, close dates, contacts, and required fields in Salesforce
• Support customer issue resolution by coordinating cross-functional communication and tracking corrective actions
• Conduct outbound prospecting through phone, email, and market research to identify and qualify new business opportunities
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads and route them to the appropriate Business Development Manager
• Coordinate customer visits, meetings, and follow-ups while tracking action items to completion
• Monitor open opportunities and quotations to ensure timely responses and pipeline discipline
• Generate Salesforce reports, dashboards, and activity summaries to support pipeline reviews and sales forecasting
• Support account development initiatives by maintaining customer records and coordinating internal/external communications
• Occasional travel (10–15%) as needed

Required Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of customer service, sales support, or inside sales experience (manufacturing industry preferred)
• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong proficiency in Salesforce/CRM systems and MS Office Suite
• Experience with ERP systems (JBA or similar preferred)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records under pressure
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up discipline
• Experience with contract review and blueprint reading preferred
• Aerospace or defense industry experience is a plus
