Responsibilities: Function as a key member of the healthcare team, providing primary and preventive care to patients of all ages. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring patient-centered care. Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, interpret lab results, and prescribe appropriate treatments. Educate patients and families on preventative care, medication management, and lifestyle modifications. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate treatment plans and ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate and timely medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Perform minor procedures as appropriate to scope of practice. Adhere to Living Water Clinic’s mission and core values, ensuring a compassionate and culturally competent approach to care. Stay informed on the latest medical advancements, participating in continuing education and professional development. Requirements: Licensure & Certification: California RN license current and valid California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required upon hire) Nurse Practitioner National Certification Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to develop and implement treatment plans. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination.
