Job Breakdown – X-Ray/CT Technologist

• Position: X-Ray/CT Technologist
• Schedule: Saturday–Monday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Shift: 12-hour days
• Guaranteed: 36 hours/week
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Radius: Must live 50+ miles from facility

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience
• Strong X-Ray + CT experience
• Trauma and Stroke experience required
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent
• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT required
• BLS required
• Current state/district license required
• Cerner experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray examinations
• Position patients and adjust technical factors
• Review physician orders and clinical information
• Produce high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure
• Assist physicians with procedures
• Handle contrast reactions and codes
• Schedule exams and enter accurate charge codes
