Inside Sales Assistant - Roswell, GA

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop new business with industrial prospects primarily by phone Grow aftermarket sales (spare parts for pumps and replacement filters) and company services Provide exceptional customer service by promptly resolving delivery, invoicing, quality, and any other issues Work closely with AEs & sales on quotes, proposals, applications, and various technical issues. Be proactive and establish frequent telephone contact with customers and prospects to maintain and cultivate relationships for consistent sales growth. Learn, utilize and maintain technical equipment selection software; Outlook; MS Office software and others. Prepare, submit & manage quotations, proposals, orders, technical support information & data. Create and manage database of customer preferences, competitor activity and work with outside sales to create sales strategies. Communicate on a timely and effective basis with customers and internal personnel about deliveries, pricing, products, and service issues. Work closely with outside sales and management to monitor and analyze sales and profits to assure goals are met or exceeded. Plan, prepare, and execute targeted advertising campaigns. Establish an image with customers which results in a very high regard for the company, its service and its people. Perform related work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

Trustworthy, honest, dependable, reliable, conscientious, outgoing, and energetic, 'can-do' attitude are a must. Must be a self starter, creative and work effectively with little direct supervision. A results oriented person with mechanical/technical aptitude is required. Degree in Marketing, Industrial Distribution or related Business field preferred. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; a strong attention for details; and proficient in Excel, MS Word, and Access. Must be well organized, handle multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines. 3 - 5 years of related experience preferred.
