Financial Analyst

Position Overview Department: General Finance Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Work Location: Daniel Building Benefits for eligible positions include: generous paid time off, paid parental leave, Associate Assistance Program, Tuition Reimbursement Program, and more What You Will Do Performs analysis and reporting regarding financial operations and information. Performs statistical, cost and financial analysis of data extracted from various internal sources. Prepares reports based on findings, including health care costs, provider contracts, debt capacity, revenue and profitablility. Assists with budget preparation and financial planning processes. Assists with budget review for compliance and identification of cost-saving opportunities. Serves as consultant to all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures. Performs special projects and duties as assigned, including research, forecasting and exploring viable alternatives. Assists with all accounting, financial reporting, portfolio reporting and valuation activities. Reviews financial statements for compliance with GAAP and other internal policies. Loads final budget spreads into applicable systems and performing required reconciliations. What You Will Need Licenses / Certifications / Registrations Accountant licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.
