Acquisition Specialist - State Farm Agent Team Member Full Time - Georgetown, KY Bonus based on performance Opportunity for advancement Paid time off This is an opportunity within Steve Woodrum's independently operated agency - not a corporate State Farm position. The goal is agency ownership. You will be working toward running your own business, not becoming a State Farm employee. We are looking for someone who wants to own a business - not a traditional full-time job. This role is a structured development opportunity inside our agency designed to put the right person on a direct path to becoming an independent contractor agent in Kentucky or elsewhere we do business across the country. Role Overview Develop client relationships and sell auto, home, life, and financial products. Hit production goals and build a track record that demonstrates you can run your own book. Complete any remaining licensing requirements - costs reimbursed for unlicensed candidates. Learn agency operations - the business side, not just the sales side. Qualifications Active property & casualty and/or life & health licenses in Kentucky (or a state with reciprocity). Series 6, 63, or 65 licensing is a major plus. Strong communicator and self-starter; sales experience a plus, insurance background not required. Financially stable enough to pursue licensing and eventually make the ownership transition. Motivated to take ownership of your own book and business; performance-based income acceptable.
