HIV Customer Representative - DALLAS - FORT WORTH MIRROR

Merck seeks an HIV Customer Representative for the Dallas-Fort Worth territory to support customer-centric sales initiatives. The role involves building relationships with healthcare providers, understanding clinical and business needs, and positioning HIV products through strategic engagement and account planning.
Responsibilities
- Communicate product information tailored to individual customer needs and healthcare provider priorities
- Serve as primary point of contact for select accounts; assess practice structure and identify business opportunities
- Develop and execute customer strategies in collaboration with cross-functional virology teams
- Drive results through portfolio management, customer segmentation, and targeted account planning
- Leverage technological capabilities and multi-channel approaches to engage customers in evolving market landscape
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6+ years equivalent professional experience
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territory
- Preferred: 2+ years account management or sales experience with infectious disease customers, ideally HIV-focused
- Advanced ability to conduct strategic customer discovery and develop evidence-based positioning
- Strong knowledge of HIV payer environment, specialty pharmacy channels, and distribution dynamics
- High-level compliance and ethical standards in all business interactions
