Sourcing SpecialistVolt is immediately hiring a Sourcing Specialist in San Diego, CA.As a Sourcing Specialist, you will:Source new domestic and international suppliers for a variety of mechanical components and partsAnalyze pricing, supplier performance and bids to narrow suppliers down to top 3 in a team environment; working across multiple departmentsNegotiate costs and pricingContinuously analyze supplier performance and build relations and source new suppliersThis is a full-time one-year temporary role with potential to go temp to hire.Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm (plus overtime as needed including Saturdays) requiring you work full time, onsite at the facility.The ideal candidate will have:3 years of years experience in a Sourcing roleExcellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentBe able to pass a 7 year criminal background check and drug testPay Rate: $43.26 - $50.48 per hour DOE*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
